Accessibility Statement
Last updated 07 July 2026
1. Our Commitment
Giggle Wiggle & Grow aims to provide a welcoming, inclusive and accessible environment for children, families and visitors.
We understand that children and adults may have different access needs, including mobility needs, sensory needs, SEND, medical needs, communication needs, anxiety, visual or hearing impairments, or other additional support needs.
We will always aim to support families where reasonably possible, while also being honest about the layout and facilities available at our venue.
2. Venue Access
Giggle Wiggle & Grow is based at:
Giggle Wiggle & Grow
10 Birmingham Road
Coleshill
B46 1AA
Our venue includes different areas, including the downstairs soft play frame and the upstairs imagination village.
Some areas of the venue may be accessed by stairs. This may affect access for visitors with mobility needs, wheelchair users, pushchairs, balance difficulties or children who find stairs difficult.
If you or your child has access needs, we recommend contacting us before booking or visiting so we can explain the venue layout and discuss whether we can support your visit safely and comfortably.
3. Play Areas
The downstairs soft play frame and upstairs imagination village are booked separately.
Access to each area may depend on:
the booking type;
venue layout;
availability;
capacity limits;
age suitability;
safety requirements;
operational arrangements;
the child’s individual needs.
Parents and carers remain responsible for supervising children during public soft play sessions, sensory play sessions, parties and general visits.
Where children are moving between floors or using stairs, parents and carers must supervise them safely.
4. SEND, Sensory and Additional Needs
Giggle Wiggle & Grow aims to be inclusive and welcoming for children with SEND, disabilities, sensory needs, communication needs, medical needs and other additional support needs.
We may be able to consider reasonable adjustments, such as:
recommending quieter sessions;
offering sensory play sessions where available;
allowing additional settling time;
providing clearer instructions;
supporting communication preferences where possible;
discussing sensory triggers or calming strategies;
considering medical, dietary or allergy needs;
discussing access needs before arrival.
The adjustments we can offer may depend on staffing, venue layout, health and safety, capacity, the activity taking place and the needs of other children attending.
Further information is available in our SEND & Inclusion Policy.
5. Sensory Play Sessions
Giggle Wiggle & Grow may offer sensory play sessions designed to provide a calmer and more sensory-aware play experience.
These sessions may be suitable for children who:
find busy environments overwhelming;
have sensory processing needs;
are autistic or neurodivergent;
experience anxiety;
benefit from quieter or gentler play;
enjoy sensory-based activities.
Sensory play sessions may include reduced capacity, calmer activities, quieter music, softer lighting, sensory resources or additional time to settle, where available.
Please note that Giggle Wiggle & Grow remains a play environment, and we cannot guarantee a completely silent, low-stimulation or allergen-free space.
6. HAF and Holiday Provision
Where Giggle Wiggle & Grow provides HAF-funded or school holiday provision, children may attend without their parent or carer staying on site.
Parents and carers must tell us about any SEND, disability, medical, mobility, sensory, communication, emotional, behavioural, dietary or personal care needs before the child attends.
This helps us consider whether the provision is suitable, whether reasonable adjustments can be made, and whether a support plan or risk assessment may be needed.
Further information is available in our HAF Parent Agreement and SEND & Inclusion Policy.
7. Toilets and Personal Care
Parents and carers should contact us before visiting or booking if they or their child need specific toilet access, changing, continence support or personal care arrangements.
During public sessions, parents and carers remain responsible for toileting and personal care.
For HAF or holiday provision, any toileting, continence or personal care needs must be discussed and agreed before the child attends.
8. Pushchairs, Prams and Car Seats
Pushchairs, prams and car seats should be kept in designated areas where available, or stored safely so they do not block walkways, stairs, exits or play areas.
For safety and fire access reasons, staff may ask visitors to move pushchairs, prams, car seats or other items.
9. Food, Allergies and Dietary Needs
We aim to support visitors with allergies, intolerances and dietary requirements where possible.
Please speak to a member of staff before ordering food or drinks if you or your child has an allergy, intolerance or dietary requirement.
Parents and carers should contact us before booking where a child has a serious allergy, complex medical dietary requirement, sensory food need or SEND-related food need.
Further information is available in our Food & Allergens Policy.
10. Website Accessibility
We aim to make our website clear, easy to use and accessible where reasonably possible.
We aim to use:
clear headings;
readable text;
simple language;
mobile-friendly pages;
descriptive links;
alternative text for important images where possible.
If you have difficulty using our website or accessing information, please contact us and we will do our best to help.
11. Review of This Statement
This Accessibility Statement will be reviewed and updated where necessary, including where there are changes to the venue layout, services, facilities, website, HAF provision or feedback from families and visitors.
12. Contact Us About Access Needs
If you or your child has access needs, SEND, sensory needs, medical needs or additional support needs, please contact us before visiting or booking.
This helps us explain the venue layout, discuss your needs and consider whether reasonable adjustments may be possible.
